1. The term refers to the phenomenon of tomato growth in Spain. The sum indicated active surface of tomato planting is greater than the sum of all agricultural active surfaces in Spain. In order to get higher national aid payments Spanish tomato farmers construct empty greenhouse on their property. Photographs taken by satellites prove the “existence” of a tomato farm.[1]
