pronunciation : land+hak
etymology : land+hack
function : noun

1. is the act of forcing someone to give up their lands against his/her wishes under the binding of law for future development of the community and the area. Similar to land acquisition, but here the intention is to make profits out of the deals and take cover under the existing law of land acquisition. Turns out to be a money making affair by the beaurocracy in the name of development.
