Bioprinter
1: Bioprinters use ink-jet printer technology to lay down controlled layers of cells. Currently in development in a variety of locations, (including the University of Manchester, the University of Utah, and Carnegie-Mellon), bioprinter systems will eventually be able to produce custom-made biological structures, including organs.
