Theory of Emergence
rating: 0+x

Recent scientific development described by Neil Leach[1] in 2006, that looks at natural phenomena to understand general principles in order to design “intelligent” systems and apply them to other contexts, such as architecture. This approach represents a shift in understanding complex adaptive systems that self-regulate and propose constant mutation with interactive informational loops, rather than “the traditional controlled, programmed and centralized approach towards design”
